Job Responsibilities:

1. Follow KT defined software development processes.
2. Perform requirement analysis, software design, development and unit testing.
3. Ensure that detailed design(s), code, unit test(s) are consistent, extendable and scalable.
4. Provide technical expertise to estimation process as input to project plan.
5. In conjunction with technical lead highlights, reviews and mitigate technical risks.
6. Handle sustenance activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Ability to solve complex technical problems.
2. Strong programming fundamentals in C. C++, and .Net.
3. Must be able to work with Hardware, System & Application groups to develop/understand system requirements and ability to develop a software design based on those requirements or map them to a software design.
4. Possess excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills with ability to move effortlessly from theory to implementation thinking.
5. Hands-on expertise in machine control and/or scientific data analysis is desired.
6. Knowledge of Optical Systems and/or vacuum instrumentation is desired.
7. Knowledge of electron beam system such electron microscope is preferred.
8. Willing to travel to US and customer places on short assignments.
