JOB DESCRIPTION
This role, as part of a software engineering team, is to own the overall delivery of engineering contribution towards a particular product/platform. Both Development and SQA responsibilities are owned by this person. Sr. Manager Software Engineering Manager is responsible for the effective management of the members of their assigned R&D Engineering team including allocation of resources and management of research initiatives within the team. They are also responsible for encouraging career development within the team and ensuring the quality of the software produced by the various product engineering teams.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensures the delivery process and technology strategies are coherent and optimized.
- Manages multi-project management accountabilities in developing and architecting solutions in a collaborative environment.
- Architects solutions across multiple hardware/software computing environments and system components.
- Plans and implements process re-engineering or process improvement.
- Be responsible for the agile release cycle from backlog definition to benefits
- Drive the agile product release mission in conjunction with the assigned Project Manager/Scrum Master
- Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management and development of the assigned team to ensure their performance meets and or exceeds both the
business and their own personal goals/objectives - Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the assigned team in an open, balanced and objective manner
- Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales.
- Produce, robust, well designed, and maintainable software solutions in line with departmental standards, industry best practice and customer requirements
- Participate in formal staff review processes including performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales
- To provide advice and guidance to others, including internal customers and team members on software engineering
- Be responsible for the delivery of personally assigned objectives to agreed standards and within agreed timescales
- Manage assigned projects/sub-projects escalating issues to project/departmental manager
13+ years of experience in Tibco technology
Knowledge of TIBCO Integration Technology
Knowledge of architecture processes
Define integration architecture and principles to support company"s business strategy for short term and long term aligned to the best practices and standards.
Based on integration architecture, carry out detailed impact analysis and estimate architectural changes needed to implement the requirements.
Must have designed and implemented at least two complete TIBCO solutions
Extensive experience in as a designer in TIBCO.
Knowledge on Standards such as BPMN, eTOM, SID, TIP, TOGAF, TAM, ITIL
Ideally the candidate will have certifications in TIBCO products and architecture frameworks.
If had worked on Informatica would be added advantage.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience is required.
