Auto req ID 31193BR Job Posting Title Engineer, Staff I - Software Development Business Unit Broadband and Connectivity Job Description • Design and development of Physical Layer (PHY) algorithms for various WLAN standards. Silicon bring-up, debug, fix and system performance tuning in lab. Identify real world issues in current generation algorithms and enhance system architecture and algorithms to solve the real world problems. Interface and work with various cross-functional teams like RF, RTL, SW, FW for deriving specs, verification and bring up-development. Simulate complete end to end or block level models at system level. Job Requirements • BE or ME/MS in Electrical Engineering with core as Communication Systems and/or DSP. Good understanding of signal processing for Communication Systems. Experience of taking PHY algorithms from design and simulation to production. Experience in lab characterization and tuning of algorithms is highly desirable Strong C programming skills is required. Other programming languages are desirable.
